Non-degree studies is a general term for university studies that do not lead to a degree. Students from the following groups, among others, pursue non-degree studies:
- students enrolled in training for a specialisation in medicine, dentistry or general practice, and students training to become medical physicists or medical chemists;
- students enrolled in the certificate programme for special education teachers, certificate programme for kindergarten special education teachers or qualification studies for career counsellors;
- students enrolled in specialisation training; and
- flexible study right students.
Students accepted for non-degree studies will usually receive instructions for registration and starting their studies from the unit or faculty organising the training. Registration instructions are provided on the page Non-Degree Student Registration (non-degree training). Depending on the nature of the training, the unit can issue additional instructions in addition to the general instructions.
