TFK is short for Team Finland Knowledge. In the TFK programme, Finnish higher education institutions may apply for funding for e.g. mobility projects with the TFK target regions and countries. UEF is coordinating and participating in several TFK projects in 2021-2023. For more information about the TFK programme, please check the website of EDUFI.
UEF degree students have exchange options e.g. in the following projects:
University tax law co-education, research, and mobility of persons (Russia-Finland)
Bachelor’s and Master’s level students of Tax Law and Law may apply for exchange in Russia in the autumn semester 2022 or the spring semester 2023. The available host universities are Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation in Moscow and St Petersburg State University in St Petersburg. The universities offer courses in English. These host universities are included in the February 2022 application period. For further information about exchange and the application period, please check the TFK call for applications on the Calls for applications for exchange page.
17.3.2022: NB! Following the policies issued by the Ministry of Education and Culture on 9 March 2022, the University of Eastern Finland refrains from all cooperation with Russian partner organisations in higher education and science. According to the policies, new projects will not be initiated and existing cooperation between organisations will be suspended for the time being. This means that currently student exchange to Russian universities is not possible.
