Getting and activating a UEF user account
Learn how to get a UEF username. If you already have a UEF username, you will keep using it. If needed, change a password.
Access rights
The access rights of the user account are given automatically according to your status at UEF. The username and account rights are based on the study right and/or the contract recorded in the personnel information system. Upon the unit’s approval, grant researchers may also apply for extended rights using an electronic application form available at asiointi.uef.fi.
If there are breaks in your employment contract, it will be possible to apply for the access rights to cover the breaks. If your role changes (from a student to a personnel or vice-versa), your access rights will automatically change.
