On Joensuu campus:

- Nyyti ry is an association that organises forums and discussions for online groups that focus on specific themes. The online groups offer peer support, new perspectives and solutions to problems. Participation is free and the groups are primarily aimed at students aged 18–35. For example, a life skills course will be launched in autumn 2018. - Joensuu areas special learners (Joensuun erilaiset Oppijat ry) is an association that organises different kinds of courses that support learning and everyday life. The association also has peer groups.
