If you study in a bachelor’s or a master’s programme at UEF, are interested in helping the new students and will be on campus the following autumn semester, you are welcome to apply as a student tutor.
All the new students receive a student tutor. The tutors play an important role in welcoming the new students and in making the start of studies as smooth as possible.
Student tutors are not staff members but they are UEF students themselves who have volunteered as tutors. The call for tutors is open annually, usually in January.

The tutor should be
-a degree student in a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programme at UEF
-interested in helping the new international students
-willing to learn and develop their skills and cooperate with others
-able to communicate with different people in English
-able to participate in the training sessions
-in the campus city during Autumn Semester, starting from late August
The call for tutors is usually open in January for next autumn semester. The instructions for applying and the link to the application form will be available here in January.
We will have almost 500 tutors helping the new students next autumn semester. Almost 200 of them will be tutoring international students (degree seeking students in the bachelor’s and master’s programmes and exchange students).
