About Kamu

PrintWhat is Kamu?
Kamu is an online service for students that is continuously evolving. In Kamu, you can find instructions common to all students, information about tools and facilities, and links to various services.
You do not need to log in to use Kamu, and Kamu also works on mobile devices.
What can you find in Kamu?
Kamu’s content is divided into two sections to help you find the information you need easily.
- The Tools and Facilities section contains links to the software and support services you need during your studies, as well as information about campuses and facilities.
- The Databank contains all general instructions related to your studies. The content is organised by target group:
- degree students
- doctoral researchers
- continuous learning students
- incoming exchange students and trainees (on the English-language site)
You can browse the databank content or use the search function.
Please note that field-specific information can be found in study communities and course-specific information (such as content descriptions and timetables) in Peppi (opens in a new tab).
Current news for students
Current news for students are published in Kamu. The main channel for student communications, however, is the Viva Engage community UEF Opiskelijat | UEF Students (opens in a new tab).
English-language content
You can access the English-language pages via the EN link at the top of the page. If no language version is available for a page, the link will not be displayed.
Give feedback – we develop Kamu together
Your feedback is important for the development of Kamu. You can leave feedback, comments and development ideas using the feedback tool at the bottom of every Kamu page.
