As a doctoral researcher, you can use artificial intelligence to support your research and studies. You are personally responsible for using AI in accordance with the university’s AI policy.
If you use an AI application to assist with your thesis, you must declare in writing which application you used and how you used it. You must not produce your entire thesis using an AI application. Note: the use of AI is prohibited on some courses.
AI is a useful tool for developing your skills as a researcher. However, you are expected to demonstrate independent academic thinking both in written work and in oral situations, such as conferences and your doctoral defence.
