
Do your studies feel stuck, or are you finding it difficult to manage everyday life? The Focus on Studies Group at UEF offers practical support and peer experiences to help you move forward. In the group, you will gain tools for managing your studies and daily life together with other students who are facing similar challenges.
Who is the group for?
The Focus on Studies group is intended for you if you are pursuing a Bachelor or Master Degree at UEF and
- your studies have been delayed or are at risk of being delayed
- you experience challenges in managing your studies or daily life
- you are able to commit to attending the group meetings.
How does the group work?
The group uses a solution-focused approach and peer support. During the meetings, participants discuss common study-related challenges, such as time management, motivation, and study planning. You will receive practical strategies and tools that you can apply to your own student life.
The group meets 5 times (10 hours in total), and there is space for a maximum of 6 students. The group is organized annually as online meetings via Zoom, allowing participation regardless of campus location.
Autumn 2026 group
The group meets online on the following days:
- Monday 5 October at 14.00–16.00
- Monday 12 October at 14.00–16.00
- Monday 19 October at 14.00–16.00
- Monday 26 October at 14.00–16.00
- Monday 2 November at 14.00–16.00
The application period opens on Tuesday, 1 September 2026 at 8:00 a.m.
How to apply?
- Complete the application form (link will appear here) no later than Tuesday, 22 September 2026.
- Applicants are selected primarily based on their application. If necessary, you may be invited for an interview.
- Places are offered in the application order to applicants who meet the eligibility criteria.
