Do your studies feel stuck, or are you finding it difficult to manage everyday life? The Focus on Studies Group at UEF offers practical support and peer experiences to help you move forward. In the group, you will gain tools for managing your studies and daily life together with other students who are facing similar challenges.
Who is the group for?
The Focus on Studies group is intended for you if you are pursuing a Bachelor or Master Degree at UEF and
- your studies have been delayed or are at risk of being delayed
- you experience challenges in managing your studies or daily life
- you are able to commit to attending the group meetings.
We can also discuss challenges related to ADHD, ADD, the autism spectrum or other neuropsychiatric challenges. However, you don’t need a diagnosis: Your own experience of the challenges in managing your everyday life is enough.
How does the group work?
The group uses a solution-focused approach and peer support. During the meetings, participants discuss common study-related challenges, such as time management, motivation, and study planning. You will receive practical strategies and tools that you can apply to your own student life.
The group meets 5 times (10 hours in total), and there is space for a maximum of 6 students. The group is organized annually as online meetings via Zoom, allowing participation regardless of campus location.
