The Joensuu and Kuopio campus libraries are closed on Tuesday, 10 November 2026 due to a Staff Development Day. The library’s 24/7 self-study facilities are open also during exceptional opening hours.
Joensuu and Kuopio Campus Libraries are open on Friday 30 October 2026 8am–2pm, customer service 10am–2pm. On Saturday 31 October 2026 the campus libraries are closed. The 24/7 self-study facilities of Campus Libraries are open despite these exceptions.
On Friday 25 September, the campuses will host Researchers’ Night from 16 to 20. Ursa’s planetarium will be set up in the Kuopio Campus Library for the event. An issue occurred in the 24/7 door programming of the Joensuu Campus Library on Saturday, 5 September. It prevented entry to the library with an access badge on Saturday after the library’s regular opening hours had ended. We apologize for the inconvenience.
