The University of Eastern Finland offers a digital reading screening test once each semester. You can take the test on the Kuopio or Joensuu campus, or remotely. Test dates are published on this page.
Please note: The screening test is conducted in Finnish and is designed for native Finnish speakers only. It is not available in other languages.
Autumn 2026 screening – Week 41:
- Kuopio Tue 6 October 2026, 9:00–10:00
- Joensuu Thu 8 October 2026, 10:00–11:00
Good to know before you register
The screening test does not provide a diagnosis of dyslexia. It may indicate possible support needs, which can arise for various reasons and do not necessarily point to dyslexia. If the results suggest a need for further assessment, you will be guided to the appropriate healthcare services.
How to register
- Submit your registration through the E-services.
- You will receive participation instructions by email.
- If the screening results indicate a possible need for support, you will receive further guidance by email.
