As a UEF degree student, you can also complete studies during the summer. There are lectures, online courses and examinations available. You can also make progress on your thesis, do practical training or work on projects during the summer.
You can find the summer course offerings in the study guide under “summer studies” (in the menu on the left). The summer studies guide is published annually in March.
Good to know before starting your summer studies
- Check the completion method for the course in Peppi. Passing an examination alone is not always enough to complete the course. Contact the teacher if you need more information.
- Allow enough time for grading. Between 15 June and 15 August, grading usually takes longer than usual – over three weeks.
- If you are taking an electronic examination (EXAM), please note that Oppari has shorter opening hours during the summer than usual.
Financial aid and summer school
You can receive financial aid for summer degree studies. Find out more on the Kela (Social Insurance Institution of Finland) website.
If you are interested in UEF Summer School, explore the offerings on the summer school website.
