There are four service channels available for the university community’s use, intended for daily support and advice: e-Services, realtime chat, telephone service, and the customer service desks on campus.
You can find all service channels and opening hours in uef.fi/dipa.
UEF user account
You log in to the university's information systems with a personal UEF user account. Activate your account right at the beginning of the semester. Instructions for activation and changing your password are available on
the Digital Services website.
Multi-factor authentication (MFA)
In addition to your username and password, you will need multi-factor authentication (MFA). MFA is enabled during your first login and requires both your password and a separate verification code.
In the e-Services portal, you can handle many study-related matters electronically, request support for using various services and report any technical issues.
Under the Student Services, you can:
- buy more printing balance
- order a transcript of records or a study certificate
- submit an RPL application based on prior studies
- apply for an extension to your right to study
Logging in requires a valid UEF user account. Enter your username in the format
[email protected].
Go to the e-Services portal at asiointi.uef.fi.
Through E-Services you can, for example, order a software license and register as a researcher, which gives you access to researcher disk space.
