Facilities and Room Reservations 

Do you need a quiet space for studying? Students at the University of Eastern Finland may reserve rooms free of charge for study‑related purposes during the opening hours of the facilities, for example for independent study, group work, research interviews, or following remote teaching. 

You can check the real‑time booking status of facilities in the Peppi calendar, in Tuudo, or in Lukkarikone. In Lukkarikone, room search works without logging in. 

Doors of the facilities have QR codes that allow you to view the room’s reservation status in Tuudo. 

Make a reservation in Peppi or the Tuudo mobile application. Your booking rights apply to specific group work rooms and seminar rooms.

Teaching facilities can also be used without a reservation when they are not occupied by teaching or other booked activities. By reserving a room, you ensure that it will be available at your preferred time. 

Reservations for Student Events 

The Student Union of the University of Eastern Finland and subject associations may reserve university facilities free of charge for activities such as presentations, tutoring, meetings, and evening events in suitable auditoriums and lobby areas. Reservations for student events are handled centrally by Facility Services.

• Joensuu Campus room reservations 

• Kuopio Campus room reservations 

Buildings and Room Names 

The letters at the beginning of a room name indicate the building, and the first number specifies the floor where the room is located. 

Example: AG106 → Agora building, Joensuu Campus, 1st floor. 
Auditoriums are typically numbered starting from 100. For example, SN200 and SN201 are adjacent auditoriums in the Snellmania building (Kuopio Campus), 2nd floor.
