Dear member of the UEF community,
The term of office of the university Board ends in December 2021. The Board composition is decided by the University Collegiate body.
See current members of the University Collegiate body here.
In addition, the Collegiate Body decides the Board term and invites the external members to the Board. Board members from within the university community will be elected by the community in 2021.
The new UEF Board will begin its work in 2022. As a preparation, the University Collegiate Body started the discussions of a new Board in October. As part of this work, the Collegiate Body now wants to hear the views of the entire university community on what kinds of expertise the external board members should bring to board work, what kinds of experience they should have, what kinds of networks, etc. For more information of the legislation and the UEF regulations concerning the Board, please see the links below.
It is now your time to influence and share your views by answering a brief survey here.
It takes about 5–10 minutes to complete the survey. Please answer the survey by December 6, 2020. We will summarize the community’s views and report them in January 2021.

Mikko Laitinen, vice chairperson of the Collegiate Body
