The WCAG 2.0 AA level criteria have been acknowledged on the website, and it is estimated that the criteria are mostly conformed to. Accessibility will also be considered in the future when the website is updated, and trainings will be organised for the content providers.
The accessibility has been assessed through self-assessment. All the pages have been assessed with SiteImprover and some additionally with Wave.
Non-accessible Content of the Digital Service
Kamu includes content that is not accounted for in the legislation:
- Content published by users or other outside operators, which is not produced, financed or maintained by the service provider.
- Office program files (e.g. doc, pdf) that have been published before the 23rd September 2018.
- Video or audio recordings that have been published before the 23rd September 2020.
The front page features a carousel slider with deficiencies related to navigating and colour contrast.
The element IDs on some pages are not yet individual (WCAG 2.4.4., 2.4.9., 4.1.2).
There are links with no textual equivalents on two pages (WCAG 4.1.1).
Some of the files on the site are not accessible. As the accessibility criteria is applied to Kamu on 23 September 2020, files that have been published after the 23rd September 2018 but before the 23rd September 2019 are not accounted for by the criteria. Adjustments are still being made.
