The Department of Geographical and Historical Studies offers undergraduate and postgraduate education in Geography, Human Geography, Environmental Policy, Finnish History and General History.
All of the courses in English offered by the Department of Geographical and Historical Studies listed below are open to exchange students – please check the individual course descriptions in WebOodi to confirm their yearly availability.
Exchange students can participate in both Bachelor’s and Master's level courses, regardless of their level of study at their home institution. Courses organised at the Bachelor’s level are more general and recommended for students in their 2-3 years of study, while courses offered at the Master’s level are more specialised and recommended for students in their 4-5 years of study. However, students of all years may take any of the courses without special difficulties.
