Completed studies and certificates

PrintResults of completed studies
You will receive the result of your completed course within three weeks of the completion date. The teacher in charge of the course may, for a specific reason, extend this period by one week. The Christmas and Easter holidays as well as the summer period from 15 June to 15 August are not counted towards the deadline.
Results are recorded in the student and study information system Peppi. You can view your academic records in Peppi, where you can also download a digitally signed transcript of academic records. If your study right has expired and you cannot download the transcript, you can order it through the e-Services.
If the completion of a course consists of several components that you complete at different times during the academic year – for example, lectures, exercises and literature – the overall completion will only be recorded in the register once all components have been completed. Keep track of your completed components yourself and get in touch when it is time to have the overall completion registered.
If you feel that your legal rights are not being upheld, for example regarding the grading of your completed studies, read more in Kamu: Internal appeals procedure at the university.
Separate certificate for a study module
Once you have completed all the courses included in a study module and they have been recorded in the study register, you can request an assessment of the study module and a separate certificate. Submit your request using the form in the e-Services.
Please note that the grade for a study module cannot be raised after a separate certificate has been issued. This applies to certificates issued on or after 1 August 2025. Your study right for the study module will end when the module is assessed.
The delivery time for a certificate is approximately one month. University holiday periods (Christmas holidays and the summer period from 15 June to 15 August) may extend the delivery time.
Digital certificates
Certificates are issued in digital format. When your certificate is ready, you will receive an email notification and can download it from the Atomi service in Peppi. You can print a paper copy of the certificate if you wish, but the digitally signed document is the only official version.
The authenticity of a digital certificate can be verified using Atomi Validator or Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.
