The high season for internship advertisements for the year 2026 is in December–February. You can find job ads targeted to university students through job portals, such as UEF JobTeaser, Valtiolle.fi and Kuntarekry.fi.
In addition, follow other job portals, such as JobMarket Finland or Laura. Large companies and organizations have their openings on their own webpages in the Careers (or similar) section. Make yourself findable as a potential employee in social media, especially LinkedIn.
In addition to locating ready-made, prepacked job openings, it is worthwhile learning how to seek and find hidden jobs. Sometimes a well-targeted open application or directly contacting an employer, with a proposal of what you have to offer, pays off. However, it usually takes systematic, long-term career planning and network building to make it into hidden jobs in any field. Do not delay, start today!
