What is Peppi?
Peppi will replace Oodi, Lukari, Timmi and Ilpa in late 2021. In Peppi, a student can plan their studies, view their timetable, follow their progress, book appointments, register for courses, acquire study certificates and transcripts of academic record, apply for recognition of prior learning, and view and edit their contact information, among other things. The data exchange layer for cross-institutional studies will be deployed along with Peppi. With the cross-institutional study service, studies completed at other institutions of higher learning that are members of the service will be transferred to the UEF student and study register without a separate RPL process.
Peppi deployment at UEF
Peppi will be deployed at UEF in late 2021. The specific timeline for the deployment will be announced in the spring of 2021. When the Peppi system is deployed, there will be a service break of about 3 weeks during which no information can be saved or changed in the student data systems.
The Peppi deployment at UEF is advanced by the Peppi deployment project. You can find up-to-date information on the deployment in, for example, the Peppi Yammer group (sign with UEF account). Peppi user instructions will be gathered in the Peppi-handbook according to user groups. The first version of the handbook will be published in the spring 2021.
You can find more information in the Peppi Handbook (requires signing in with a UEF account)
