Give notice to end your studenthousing lease at least one FULL calendar month before you leave. If you wish to leave in May, please inform the housing company during April.
Make sure you will clean the apartment properly before leaving. You will lose your deposit if the apartment is not clean.
Changes to the Learning Agreement is signed at your department. Please contact your departmental coordinator if you need your LA to be signed.
After you have received a grade for all the courses, order a digitally signed UEF transcript of records (listing all the courses you have completed during your exchange at UEF) from WebOodi. More information on the digitally signed transcript: (https://kamu.uef.fi/en/student-book/electronic-transcript-records-certification-student-status/) You will have access to WebOodi for 4 months after your study right expires. If you need a transcript later or if your home university doesn’t accept the digitally signed transcript, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Usually everybody needs a Letter of Confirmation proving the length of the exchange (starting and finishing date).
Check with your home university if they have a form we should use. If not we can use the UEF one. If your home university has asked you to return their own forms, please send them to us for signing.
Send the form to email@example.com and five the exact dates of your arrival and departure.
You can have the Letter of Confirmation only within 7 days before your departure. We cannot sign it earlier.
The official finishing date of the Spring Semester is 21 May. That is usually the latest possible date in your Letter of Confirmation unless you are admitted for a longer period of study/traineeship with us.
