How to get a UEF user account?

UEF user account

During your university studies, you will need a UEF user account, which you will use to log in to the university’s digital services.

Carefully read the instructions for activating your UEF user account on the Digital Services website at uef.fi/username.

On the site, you will also find instructions for logging in with your UEF user account, changing your password, and enabling multi-factor authentication, as well as plenty of general information about user accounts and access rights.

Your user account and password are personal, and must not be given to anyone else! You are always personally responsible for all use of your user account.

Proceed as follows

1. Go to uef.fi/username.
2. Activate your UEF user account according to the instructions.
3. Read the instructions on the page about logging in, access rights, and enabling multi-factor authentication.
4. Familiarise yourself with the Microsoft 365 environment and email in Kamu.
5. Your user account will be available for use approximately four hours after activation, if your access rights are valid immediately. Otherwise, wait until your access rights begin.
