How to get a UEF user account?

UEF user account

During your university studies, you will need a UEF user account, which you will use to log in to the university’s digital services.

Carefully read the instructions for activating your UEF user account on the Digital Services website at uef.fi/username.

The website also includes instructions on logging in with our UEF user account, changing your password, enabling multi-factor authentication and general information about user accounts and access rights.

Your user account and password are personal, and must not be shared with anyone. You are always personally responsible for all activity carried out using your account.

How to proceed?

1. Go to uef.fi/username.
2. Activate your UEF user account according to the instructions on the page.
3. Review the information on logging in, access rights, and enabling multi-factor authentication.
4. Familiarise yourself with the Microsoft 365 environment and email in Kamu.
5. Your user account will usually be available approximately four hours after activation, provided that your access rights are valid immediately. If not, the account will become available once your access rights begin.
