You can send books to the P. O. Box addresses of libraries at your own risk. It is noteworthy that the books should be sent from the Post Office. The library does not have a mobile phone number for arrival notices, so the package cannot be sent online. Mailed books are distributed directly to campus.

Let’s respect the quiet working conditions at the library
Lately we have received feedback on excess noise at the library. We hope that every customer takes others into consideration by keeping their voice down, using a mask and keeping the shared space tidy.
Quiet working conditions are our common right and everyone has a responsibility to intervene. If the noise level gets out of hand, please immediately inform the people in question and, if needed, our librarians. Please notice that both campuses have self-study facilities for louder discussion.

Problem opening links in UEF Primo with Firefox browser
Upgrading the Firefox browser to version 96.0 has caused some links to e-resources in UEF Primo to not open normally remotely with the latest version of Firefox. The problem is currently being investigated.
If there is a link in UEF Primo that does not work in Firefox, we recommend using other web browsers and reporting the inaccessible material to the library: [email protected]

RefWorks use continues
Reference management programme Refworks will be in use for UEFians and KUH staff at least until the end of the year 2022.
A sequel to the order will be cleared over next year. Any changes will be informed in good time.
The reasons for reassessing the acquisition include changes to the data protection agreement required by provider Proquest. Some of the 28 scientific institutions in Finland that subscribed RefWorks have already abolished their orders and some will work out the extension over the next year, like UEF.
