Due to the mutated strains of COVID-19, the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) now recommends avoiding all non-essential domestic travel as well. The University of Eastern Finland’s coronavirus guidelines have been updated to correspond to THL’s recommendation. The updated guidelines now advise against all non-essential travel, both domestic and foreign.
