Annual registration for students who are already enrolled at the university (i.e. are in their second, third, etc., year of studies) starts on 1 May 2023 and ends on 15 September 2023. All bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral students must register annually as being present or absent at the university within the registration period. Student Mental Health Day is celebrated every spring. This year, the day is Wednesday, April 19. and the campaign lasts the whole 16th week.
Students’ Mental Health Day is a campaign day organised by the Student Wellbeing Network. During the day and campaign related students’ mental health situation is highlighted and everyone is encouraged to act to promote students’ mental health. The campaign is coordinated by Nyyti ry.

The due date for payments of the healthcare fee for the spring term was 31 January 2023. If you have not yet paid the fee, do so now.
In February, Kela sent a past due notice to the students who failed to pay the healthcare fee for students in higher education by the deadline. In order to avoid collection by enforcement, you must pay the healthcare fee immediately, using the payment details in the past due notice. Students who have misplaced the past due notice can look up the payment details in the OmaKela e-service.
Unpaid healthcare fees will be referred to the enforcement authority on 17 April 2023.
The healthcare fee that higher education students must pay to Kela covers all of the services available from the Finnish Student Health Service. There are no other fees for service or per-visit charges.

We are invoicing unpaid borrowing service fees at the end of April. By paying all the unpaid fees before that, you can avoid the invoicing. Web payment in UEF Primo is a quick and easy way to pay the overdue and reservation fees online. It is possible if the amount of fees is at least one euro. You can also pay the fees at the Joensuu and Kuopio campus libraries’ customer service with a debit/credit card. Payment is not possible in the KUH Medical Library, because there is no cash service.
