The KUH Medical Library will move to summer opening hours from 1 June 2021. The library is closed on Thu 3 June 2021 due to the staff development day.
Joensuu and Kuopio Campus Libraries are still closed due to renovations and will open at summer opening hours on Mon 7.6.2021.

LibKey and BrowZine at your service!
LibKey simplifies access to library-licensed articles. It provides a quick, one-click access to the full texts of journal articles available to UEF students and staff. LibKey will link you directly to the article when possible. In addition, UEF Primo’s search for international articles provides a new direct “Download pdf” link.
BrowZine is an application that allows users to browse, read, and monitor journals and articles available through UEF. You do not have to sign in to Browzine, but by doing so you can create personalized collections.

On Ascension Day 13.5.2021 all library services are closed
On Ascension day 13.5.2021 the KUH Medical Library and the electronic services of the UEF Library are closed.
Kuopio Campus Library is closed for renovation from 1 May to 4 June 2021 and Joensuu Campus Library from 10 May to 4 June 2021.

Window repairs at the library
Window repairs in the Carelia building continue on the first floor of the library as of April 26, 2021. When the window repairs on the first floor have been completed, they will start on the second floor and after that move on to the third floor.
The repairs will be completed in early autumn.

Putting dissertations on public display when libraries are closed due to renovations in spring 2021
As the Kuopio Campus Library is closed from 1 May to 4 June 2021 and the Joensuu Campus Library from 10 May to 4 June 2021, the copies of dissertations intended for public display will be kept in Joensuu in the lower lobby of Aurora building, close to the entrance of the student office, and in Kuopio in the upper lobby of Snellmania building.
Entrance to the Joensuu Campus Library changes
Entrance to the library via Carelia entrance hall closes for the duration of the renovations on Tuesday 20.4.2021, after which the library can be entered from the F-door on the Alkukivet stones’ side of the building.
As of 21.4.2021, the return machine will be located in Olola space for the duration of the renovations.
