University of Eastern Finland continues its recommendation on online teaching and remote work until the end of January

The University of Eastern Finland continues its recommendation on online teaching and remote work until the end of January 2022 due to the coronavirus situation, which continues to be difficult. On-campus teaching will only be organised on courses where it is deemed essential, and everyone participating in on-campus teaching is required to wear a mask. FFP2 masks will become available for on-campus teaching.

All events organised by the university (public examinations of doctoral dissertations, lectures, exams, etc.) must comply with the Regional State Administrative Agency for Eastern Finland’s restrictions on public gatherings, and the COVID-19 passport may not be used as an alternative to the restrictions. Currently, public gatherings are limited to 50 people. The Regional State Administrative Agency is expected to make further decisions later this week, and the effects of these decisions on the university’s activities will be communicated separately.
