Would you be interested in communal housing? We are looking for University of Eastern Finland students to participate in a communal housing experiment that will take place in Kuopas’ apartments in Kuopio in the autumn semester 2021.

We offer you:

Campus Libraries will open again on June 7, 2021

Joensuu and Kuopio Campus Libraries, which have been closed due to renovations, will open on Mon 7 June 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Summer opening hours are valid at all UEF Libraries until 31 August 2021. However, the KUH Medical Library will be closed from 28 June to 29 July 2021.

Notice some exceptions in the library services:

Making reservations is possible again from June 7, 2021.
The renovations will last throughout the summer and thus, it may not be possible to work in peace and quiet at the campus libraries. For more information about other self-study facilities on campuses, visit Kamu.
Kuopio Campus Library’s book drop hatch is located at the B-door of Snellmania-building during the renovation.
The Legal deposit working station of the Kuopio Campus Library will not be available during the summer. The workstation can be reserved for use again in the fall.
In Joensuu, Oppari and IT service desk serve in temporary facilities in Agora building for the time being.
During the summer season, the library serves by phone, chat and email Mon–Fri 9am–3pm.

There may be changes to services. Follow the news on the library’s website, on social media and on Yammer.
