The phone service as well as the customer service desk in Joensuu are open normally. You can also contact the customer service by email.

Coffee & Friends’ spring semester 2024 begins
Coffee & Friends meetings begin on Tuesdays from 12 March onward at 3-5pm at Lukema in Kuopio and at 4-6pm at Aurora in the AU110 fireplace room (“Takkahuone”) in Joensuu.
Coffee & Friends (Finnish: Kaverikahvila) event offers low threshold hanging out after lectures and an opportunity to meet other students over coffee and a snack. All students (exchange students, degree students, doctoral students) from the University of Eastern Finland are welcome to Coffee & Friends. You can come to the café alone or with a friend, and stay for a while or the whole time.
In addition, Coffee & Friends offers changing and informal activities. Participation in the activities is completely voluntary. You can find the program from ISYYs webpage (link opens in a new window).
Participation is free of charge and does not require pre-registration.
The program is organized by UEF students who work as group leaders and volunteers of ISYY’s Coffee & Friends team.

Students now have the opportunity to make facility reservations for study-related purposes e.g., for independent study and group work
Students of the University of Eastern Finland can book university’s facilities for study-related purposes within the opening hours of the facilities, e.g., for independent study, group work, research interviews, or participation in remote teaching.
Facilities Management will manage private use and facility reservations made by other external users in a centralised manner. Reservations for student events are managed according to separate instructions.
The person making a facility reservation is obliged to familiarise themselves and to comply with the instructions and schedules related to the use of the facilities.
The reservation rights allow for making facility reservations in Peppi or the Tuudo mobile application on separately specified workspaces and seminar halls.
